Sometimes blood needs to be liquid, but sampling it doesn't need to be harder than drafting a beer. A tap on the shoulder can also deliver a high-quality blood sample.

Dried blood spots are great, but sometimes liquid blood is required to analyse certain biomarkers that might be damaged during the drying process, such as entire cells or very large proteins.

Since liquid blood analyses often require larger volumes, a finger prick is not a feasible option. That's where upper arm blood collection devices come into play.

By applying gentle pressure to the upper arm, these devices draw the necessary amount of blood without the hassle of needles and syringes, offering an easy solution for high-quality liquid blood samples.
